Sigma first unveiled its innovative USB dock at Photokina last year. Consequently, many professionals have been rather curious at how the device will work. For $60, the gadget allows people to connect their lens to the computer through USB connection. They can perform micro adjustments to the autofocus feature as a way to tweak the lens performance.
Newly released firmware can also be downloaded easily. With many lenses, the updating process is overly complex. Sigma has also released a video to show potential users about how to adjust and update their lens using the software included with the dock. The USB Dock is planned for release sometime in May.
