Canon Is Preparing A 35 Mm EF Cinema Lens With Fixed-Focal-Length
Canon is working on a 35mm aimed for large-format digital cameras with single sensor. Included in Canon EF Cinema family, the new lens will serve requirements between 24mm and 50mm focal lengths. The lineup is intended to deliver superb optical performance on various focal lengths.
The Cinema EOS System family was unveiled for the first time in late 2011 by delivering exceptional quality and 4k cinema lenses. The use of advanced coatings and materials further brings the optical performance to a new level. The pleasing “bokeh” effect and flexible depth of field manipulation are possible due to the use of aperture diaphragm with eleven blades.
