Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS II Review

Canon EF-S LensesEquipped with the Optical Image Stabilizer feature, the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS II is appropriate for long distance shots at low-light environments. Many users prefer this camera lens due to price point and specs considerations. The lens produces very sharp pictures and the stabilization features does an excellent job.

For less than $300, it is a good alternative for zoom lens with built-in image stabilization technology. However, the relatively low price tag contributes to the cheapish feel and weaker performance in low-light situations. With 55mm focal length, the lens is inappropriate for very close-range photography and for this purpose, users need to choose l8-55mm models instead.
