Jenoptik Releases 1.0/7.5mm Wide-Angle Lens

Jenoptik releases a new type of lens designed specifically for thermographic cameras. The 1.0/7.5mm wide-angle lens is coated with hybrid “Diamond-Like Carbon” (DLC) materials, which can withstand extreme ambient conditions. The diamond coating guarantees optimum reproduction and it is designed to withstand extreme industrial situations.

Surveillance and measurement of large objects are possible even from short distance, thanks to the 135° x 100° FoV. Thermographics cameras that support the lens include IR-TCM HD and VarioCAM® HD.
