Among photographers, the term Digiscoping is used to define an attempt to get extremely long zooming, by attaching digital cameras with spotting scope. Recently, SLR Magic has unveiled a new product, the Monster Lens II 12-36×50 ED Spotting Scope for Micro Four Thirds.
The sequel to the original Monster Lens offers improved optical performance. The Micro Four Third mount delivers better contrast and sharpness. Other features include multi coated glass and extra-low dispersion optics. It comes with fine and gross focus adjustments, dual-focus controls and 840-2520mm focal length. The whole setup will set us back $799 and availability will begin from June this year.
