Microsoft Releases 210mm Lens for UltraCam Eagle

Earlier, Microsoft has launched the UltraCam Eagle, which is optimized for mapping and aerial photography with its digital photogrammetric camera. The improved design and technology applied into the camera allows from ultra-efficient and ultra-reliable solutions for capturing the finest details.

To further improve its usability, Microsoft has unveiled the new 210mm camera lens, which is optimized for higher altitude, while maintaining the same level of quality and dynamic. Capable of acquiring 5cm imageries at about 2km altitude, the camera lens can better deal with restricted airspace. The new lens can easily outperform cameras with built-in Bayer pattern CCD, offering higher geometric accuracy and better image dynamic.
